Well my first book for my first reading journal is Breaking Through by: Francisco Jimenez
I really really really like this book, it's just all around awesome so far.
You really feel for the charachters and kind of feel like your in the story yourself.
My favorite parts where when he told his neighbor off about the bedpan, I thought it was really funny. My second favorite part was when th woman named mary took them out to dinner, I thought it was really cute how they didn't really know what to do and kept coppying her.
I really like this book and will most likely be finished with it by the end of this week... if not sooner!

I'm glad you like the book! I really appreciate it for the perspectives it brings. I never understood quite so much about what it's like to be an immigrant, or an illegal immigrant for that matter.
