Media

Maybe like how society thinks you should think.

Like oh, this 90 pound supermodel is gorgeous if you don't look like her then your ugly. (not that extreme, but if you sum it all up there ARE people who would starve to look like her)

But all that aside, media is a way of communicating ideas through modern technologies, TV, computers, magazines, radio, books, and so on and so forth.

So like today my group and I looked for logos, and I guess logo's are part of media because they can influence what you wear. If a lot of people are wearing a certain brand and you see logos constantly plastered across bodies, you might say
"oh cool shirts, maybe I'll get one"

And you'll buy one without even thinking twice if you really wanted that shirt, or if you wanted to give into the medias fads'.

So next time your buying a shirt, think more about does it look good on me? And does it feel right? Rather than darn It may be 3 sizes too-small but I need one so my friends will think I'm cool.

Be confident multiracial women! ALL of you! :D

Sooo true.I agree with what people want you to think like and buy just to think that you are special and unique. But you dont need it.People are unique and awseome just by being themselves.Media changes you.It could be bad or good ,but its all up to you!.

Well it is kinda true. I usually wear Nike and jordan's just cuz of the brand. If they weren't these brands i probably wouldn't have bought them.
